E-portfolio
An electronic portfolio is a compilation by students of their course related work that help employers and other people in depicting their skills and qualities acquired in academic life. An electronic portfolio may include volunteer experiences, extracurricular activities and competencies developed by students by doing artifacts. Basically, e-portfolio is mandatory for all students of Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University as it helps them in developing their professionalism and self-grooming. The six main competencies of PMU are communication, technology, professionalism, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork. The courses of PMU are designed to develop these competencies in students to help them in polishing their skills in professional life. This e-portfolio is a personal reflective writing that facilitates students in depicting competencies and skills they have developed by doing artifacts.
I am currently doing Bachelor’s in Finance from Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University as my mathematics skills are outstanding. I selected major of finance due to my personal interest and my dream to become an expert financial auditor and provide monetary solutions to people of Saudi Arabia. This e-portfolio assisted me to provide a reflective writing on lessons I have learnt by completing artifacts. This assignment helped me in building skills related to six focal competencies of PMU.
